Brief:
Discarding opponent's digivolutions to prevent Inherit Effects and use BT05-Hexeblaumon to stun their board.

Key Features:
  • Counters strategies that rely on Inherit Effects and Digiburst
  • Many benefits from opponent having Digimon with no digivolutions
  • BT05-Hexeblaumon is hard to out for some decks
  • Jamming
How to Play:
  • Consider hard summoning Hexeblaumon against Black to prevent Devolve
  • Constantly discard digivolutions to gain benefits
  • Keep Hexeblaumon safe for it is the only thing keeping your opponent from rushing you down
Weaknesses:
  • Requires setup
  • Extreme lack of proactive plays, meaning if your opponent can do their entire setup in breeding there is little you can do to punish
  • Requires your opponent to have digimon on board
  • No security effects
  • Lack of removal
Cards to Consider:

Provides a surprise attack, makes use of tamers

Alternate lv5 that may unbrick hands and has Inherit effect

Never a bad card, provides some security effect

Provides removal and security effect, but extremely costly

Theory: DP Thresholds Obviously the higher the DP the better, but actually a lot of the times 1000DP or even 3000DP difference doesn't matter. Its all about context. Take BT01-Slashagemon and BT04-Wargreymon as example, 2 commonly used cards as the top end of a BT4 yellow deck. Going against one of the most common matchups at the time a BT4 green deck, which digimon has a higher chance of surviving a security check? THE SAME, despite a whopping 3000DP difference the chances are the same! The typical green deck runs no lv5s above 7000DP, so lets take a look at the lv6s. Notice how maybe apart from the occationaly tech card of BT03-Banchostingmon, the entire line up is 11000DP or higher. The only difference between Wargreymon and Slashangemon is the 8000DP can be ran over by a lv5 with DP boost. Next time when you decide to attack or not, take account of the opponent's deck and see estimate the chance of survival. Important DP Thresholds 1000 -1000DP, is the most common DP reduc...
