Brief

Abusing that BT02-Metalgarurumon isn't a once per turn, using various methods to untap it allowing for multiple attacks.

Key Features

  • Multiple attacks from 1 digimon
  • free 1cost options when paired with BT05-Guilmon

How to Play

  • Destroy one of your own lv3s before attacking with lv6s to proc Gigimon's +2000dp (Blackwargrowlmon untap effect activates before security check)
  • Use Demonic Disaster and Blackwargrowlmon for multiple attacks
  • Dont always use Blackwargrowlmon's Digiburst effect, sometimes the inherit effects are important

Weakness
  • No lv6 removal
  • Metalgarurumon can die in security checks

Cards to Consider

Higher DP,  security +1, lower Digiburst cost allowing you to keep inherit effect. The biggest downfall is the 4cost, meaning you can't ensure it attacking on the evo turn.

1st card in sec = free win, in hand = really bad lv7 with some occational use

Removal, Floats, but Zwart generally provides better utility

Lv6+ removal, but likely to pass turn

Theory: DP Thresholds Obviously the higher the DP the better, but actually a lot of the times 1000DP or even 3000DP difference doesn't matter. Its all about context. Take BT01-Slashagemon and BT04-Wargreymon as example, 2 commonly used cards as the top end of a BT4 yellow deck. Going against one of the most common matchups at the time a BT4 green deck, which digimon has a higher chance of surviving a security check? THE SAME, despite a whopping 3000DP difference the chances are the same! The typical green deck runs no lv5s above 7000DP, so lets take a look at the lv6s. Notice how maybe apart from the occationaly tech card of BT03-Banchostingmon, the entire line up is 11000DP or higher. The only difference between Wargreymon and Slashangemon is the 8000DP can be ran over by a lv5 with DP boost. Next time when you decide to attack or not, take account of the opponent's deck and see estimate the chance of survival. Important DP Thresholds 1000 -1000DP, is the most common DP reduc...
